Kinsey and Pete are so excited to have their wedding day celebrated at World Forestry Center, located in Washington Park, Portland, Oregon. World Forestry Center is a non-profit dedicated to sharing and teaching sustainable forestry practices and the future of forests in the PNW. The campus includes several pavilions and a museum. We are excited to have the ceremony and reception at Miller Hall on the WFC campus and cocktail hour at the neighboring Discovery Museum. Portland has an average temperature range of 36 - 51 degrees Fahrenheit in February. Plan to bring warm clothes, coats, and clothing for rain.

We invite guests to wear their best winter cocktail attire at our wedding. However, we want our guests to be as comfortable as possible and encourage them to wear what feels right! Whatever you choose to wear, we strongly encourage bringing a coat since part of the event includes being outdoors. Need inspiration? Because we want to celebrate in the best way we envision our day, we are only able to extend an invite to the children of close friends and family.

World Forestry Center is located on the Blue/Red Line of the MAX, Portland metro's light rail transportation system. We encourage our guests to utilize the MAX if your party does not have a car. Ubers and Lyfts are also readily available in Portland. There is also ample parking near Miller Hall, which is shared with the Oregon Zoo. Please note that it is a pay-to-park system in Washington Park. We also plan to provide a parking pass for those who note that on the RSVP. Feeling tech savvy? Parking Kitty is the parking app for the City of Portland (including Washington Park and World Forestry Center), and can be downloaded onto any smart phone.

In spirit of the Valentine's Day holiday, our wedding colors are navy, baby pink, and burgundy! Bridesmaids will be wearing burgundy.
